Commentary on Caldwell
I’ve been pleased to see Christopher’s Caldwell’s Reflections on the Revolution in Europe getting serious attention in mainstream publications. This review in Commentary is especially good.I’ll be reading it in a few days. I’d like to know whether Caldwell deals with one question:Is it true that one reason the Europeans are so myopic about the combination of dependence, resentment and exclusion that keeps Muslims from fully integrating into a European identity is that Europeans themselves have the same relationship with America?
